    I prefer to work from high resolution, digital photos. That being said, most phones these days take high-resolution photos. Please be sure to send it as the largest file size possible (this helps with resolution).

    To place a commission, simply email me. We will discuss your project needs, your timeline and reference photos if applicable. I will place you on my waitlist with a 50% commission deposit.

    My current wait list is 10-12 weeks; however, I can sometimes squeeze in pieces in less time if needed for a special occasion.

    Yes, I will be offering prints in my online shop. If, however, you see a piece in my portfolio that you would like to have a print of, just ask as I can sometimes do small batch print orders.

    The best photos make for the best portraits. Outside on an overcast day is ideal lighting, but in the shade or by a bright window works too. Avoid harsh, awkward shadows and flash if possible.

    Sometimes, but rarely. Different lighting, angles and facial expressions often just look odd and pieced together. For two pets or kids in the same piece, one photo is best. That being said, feel free to ask!

    99% of the time, yes. I have removed trees, brought dead bushes back to life and changed seasons from winter to spring (with some reference photos). Don't hesitate to ask.

    If the piece is yours, absolutely! I am happy for you to use a digital image of your commission at no additional charge. However, if you'd like to use an image you see online that is not yours, please email me.
